DESIGN STUDIO

The studio was founded in 2014 by Giuseppe Bagnardi, a designer who, following his training in Turin and Milan, began his career in the nautical and automotive sectors.

Giuseppe Bagnardi began his professional career in 2008, working in the design centres of leading companies: he took his first steps at Bertone in Turin, then moved to Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese, before joining the Advance Design centre of the Volkswagen Group in Braunschweig, Germany, which was headed at the time by Walter De Silva.

 

From the very beginning of his career, he also embarked on a series of collaborations with various companies in the nautical sector, initially with Wally, then through an Italian design studio working on yacht designs for brands such as the Ferretti Group, Sessa Marine and Filippetti Yacht; he also collaborated on several yacht refits with a number of Italian shipyards.

Then, in 2014, he founded the BG DESIGN FIRM studio in Rome and began working for leading Italian shipyards such as Otam, Cantieri Capelli, Castagnola Yacht, Cantieri di Baia, Cayman Yacht.

The studio oversees every stage of the boat-building process: from initial sketches on paper through to CAD design. The studio handles both the exterior and interior design of the boat, always striving to achieve the right balance between aesthetics and function, paying meticulous attention to every detail and meeting the end client’s requirements.
